These are the instructions for installing PyAsaph and Asaph and using them for displaying song lyrics during worship services.

Basically you need PyAsaph to actually display the songs on the projector, but Asaph to edit the song lyrics. Asaph requires Java, PyAsaph comes with everything built in.

First, to be able to display songs, download and setup PyAsaph (just run the program). You can start pyasaph from the Start Menu → PyAsaph → PyAsaph once it is installed.

Then to be able to edit songs, download and setup Java (follow the instructions on the web page) if you don’t already have it on your computer (if you’re not sure its probably easiest to download and install the latest version) Finally download Asaph, unzip it (you can double click the file in Windows XP) and run the asaph_installer.bat file.
